Chapel FM Seacroft

About This Project

With the role of the main contractor Roebuck & Holmes was awarded the project of carrying the conversion of Seacroft Methodist Chapel into a radio studio and performance studio.

The works consisted of:
• Alterations and demolitions to suit new layout
• Removal of existing ground floor construction and with replace with new concrete slab
• Removal of existing roof coverings, carry out repairs, install new coverings and rainwater goods
• Install new steel external escape staircase
• Removal of external render, apply new coloured render and carry out stone and brick work repairs to the front elevation
• Replacement of all external windows and doors
• New internal walls and doors to ground floor area to create new radio studio space
• New internal finishes and fittings
• Lift installation to DDA requirements
• Hard landscaping to the front and rear of the building
