About This Project

Roebuck & Holmes were appointed main contractors to carry out internal alterations at the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Garforth. Working with Overton architects the specification compromised of internal re-ordering and the forming of a new dais and ramp.

The works consisted of:
• Removal of pews and lowering of pew platforms
• Modifications to the heating installation
• Modifications to the lighting installation
• Construction of new dais and ramp to the chancel
• Install new sound system
• Manufacture new furniture re-using elements of the removed furnishings
• Re-decorate affected areas
• Install new floor coverings
