About This Project

Working alongside Overton architects of Ilkley, Roebuck & Holmes were nominated the main contractors to carry out the internal re-ordering of St Williams’s church along with forming new ramps internal and external with a new W/C to DDA requirements.

The works consisted of:
• Demolition and strip out of existing alter and concrete floor slab
• Removal and re-ordering of pews
• Cleaning of all exposed un-painted stone work
• Form new concrete floor slab
• Manufacture, install new joinery and furniture including doors, frames, book shelves and display cabinets
• Install new internal glazed screens
• Form new curved ceiling to confessional area
• Installation of new heating system
• Carry out decorations to church and newly formed areas
• Install new floor coverings
• Form new external steps and ramp including new railings
